- Location & Project: First line of address, postcode, approximate area (size), project type.
- Photos: Images of surfaces/areas (may include parts of your property). Avoid including people, vehicle registration plates, or unrelated private areas.
- Technical: Basic server logs (IP (transient), user agent) for security and diagnostics.
3. How We Use It
We use your information solely to: (a) assess and prepare quotations; (b) arrange site visits; (c) communicate about accepted work and scheduling; (d) improve internal planning (aggregate only).
Lawful basis: Preliminary steps at your request (contract) and our legitimate interest in operating and safeguarding the service.
4. Storage & Retention
Data is stored on secure hosting in the UK/EU (or equivalent adequate region). We retain:
- Unsuccessful / declined quote details: typically deleted within 6–12 months.
- Accepted project records: retained while works/warranty are active.
- Photos not needed for ongoing reference: removed after quote decision unless you consent to portfolio use.
5. Photos You Upload
Photos are used to understand existing surfaces, access routes, drainage, edging and gradients. If a photo inadvertently includes sensitive content, contact us and we will delete or crop it. We never publish images identifying your property without prior consent.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell data. We may share limited details with vetted subcontract partners strictly where required to execute agreed works (e.g. skip hire delivery). Any such sharing is minimised.
7. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection. We will respond within 30 days (or explain if more time needed). You may also request withdrawal of consent for any optional photo usage.
8. Future Analytics & Cookies
If analytics are enabled later, we will aggregate non-identifiable usage metrics. Cookie preferences can be adjusted via the consent banner (or by clearing browser storage).
